Finance for IT
This two-day course on Finance for IT is designed to teach participants how finance and accounting work, and the related business processes. The goal is to help you make more informed financial decisions and manage project finances and budgets more accurately and efficiently. You will learn how to read and analyze financial statements to determine the financial health of an organization or department, and what steps are needed to improve it. The course uses a “fun, unique, gamified technique and virtual breakaway rooms” to help participants self-discover answers and retain the learning. This course can also be tailored to a specific organization’s financial terminology, reports, and transactions, which would require discussing requirements with HR and obtaining financial information from the finance team.

In this course you will learn how finance, accounting, and the related business processes work, in order to make informed financial decisions, and to manage project finances and budgets more accurately and efficiently. You will understand how to read and analyze financial statements in order to draw your own conclusions as to the financial health of the organization, and what steps are required in order to improve the financial health of the organization or of your department. You will also be more confident in liaising with the finance team, and be able to ask critical finance-related questions. We use a fun, unique, gamified technique and virtual breakaway rooms in order for participants to self-discover the answers and to embed the learning.
We are able to tailor a Finance Fusion course to your organization, using your organization’s finance terminology, finance reports and financial transactions. We would need to discuss your requirements with your HR and obtain financial information from your Finance team.
