Educational Dollars for Duty (EDD)

The Florida National Guard (FLNG) Educational Dollars for Duty (EDD) program is a State of Florida, legislatively directed and funded, education tuition assistance resource that is exclusively available to qualified Florida Army and Air National Guard Servicemembers to complete authorized postsecondary education opportunities that include:

  • Industry Certifications
  • Vocational/Technical Programs
  • Continuing Education Programs
  • Academic Degree Programs (i.e. Associate, Bachelors, and Masters)

EDD may also reimburse approved book and instructional material costs. The EDD program is a State of Florida privilege, not entitlement that is always dependent on Servicemember qualification, available state appropriation and program law/directive as established by appropriate authority.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an “Active Drilling” member
  • Be in “Good Standing”
  • Florida Army or Air National Guard Member living in the state of Florida

How do I Register for a Class?

Submit your completed and signed EDD voucher to ATA’s EDD Student Coordinator team. Courses approved/covered will be billed to the EDD program.
